At Natura Flooring, we are dedicated to creating beautiful spaces while safeguarding the planet for future generations. Sustainability lies at the heart of our philosophy, guiding every step of our process, from sourcing and production to packaging and delivery. Our mission is simple: to offer premium, authentic wood flooring made with respect for nature and the people who depend on it.
A Sustainable Future with Wood
As a UK-based company, we understand the growing importance of sustainability in today’s world. The demand for high-quality wood products continues to rise, and with it, the responsibility to source and manufacture ethically. That’s why we use European timber from responsibly managed forests that comply with the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR).
These strict standards guarantee legality, traceability, and environmental responsibility, ensuring our timber supports the health of forests and the communities that manage them. Unlike uncertified wood from regions with poor environmental controls, our materials help preserve biodiversity and maintain ecological balance.
Responsible Forest Management
Our wood is sourced from sustainably managed forests where reforestation is a key priority. Trees are harvested responsibly once they reach maturity, typically between 80 and 120 years old, allowing new growth to flourish and maintaining the natural life cycle of the forest.

This process supports both forest regeneration and local economies, ensuring that the forests providing our materials continue to thrive for generations to come. We work exclusively with the Florian Group, a trusted Italian partner known for its ethical approach to production. Florian applies high-efficiency manufacturing and energy recovery systems to minimise waste and maximise material use, ensuring every log is used to its full potential. All our floors are FSC® certified, a hallmark of environmental care and responsible forestry.
All Our Floors Are FSC® Certified
TheForest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to protecting the world’s forests and promoting responsible forest management. Its mission is to ensure that forests are managed in an environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically sustainable way.
The FSC® “tick-tree” logo, recognised globally, guarantees that the wood, paper, or other forest-based materials used in a product come from responsibly managed sources.

Today, the FSC® certification system covers over 160 million hectares of forest worldwide, giving businesses and consumers the assurance that the materials they choose help combat deforestation, support biodiversity, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
All our Floors are PEFC Certified
We are also proud to be PEFC certified, further demonstrating our commitment to sustainable forest management and full supply chain traceability. The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) is a globally recognised non-profit organisation that ensures wood and wood-based products come from responsibly managed forests.

This certification confirms that Natura’s products support biodiversity, local communities, and the highest environmental and ethical standards across every stage of production.
Italian Craftsmanship and Non-Toxic Finishes
Our Italian manufacturing partners share Natura’s dedication to sustainability and excellence. Using sustainably sourced European oak and non-toxic materials, each floor is produced with exceptional attention to detail.

All finishes are premium-grade and environmentally safe, using natural oils and coatings that highlight the wood’s beauty while ensuring durability and a healthy indoor environment. The result is wood flooring that reflects the best of Italian manufacturing, eco-conscious design, and long-lasting quality.
Commitment to Energy Efficiency
Sustainability extends beyond our materials. Inspired by innovations such as photovoltaic energy systems used by our sister company, we embrace energy-efficient production methods that reduce carbon emissions and minimise environmental impact.
Every stage of our process is designed to protect natural resources and operate with the smallest possible footprint.
Compliance with the European Timber Regulation
Natura fully complies with the European Timber Regulation (EUTR), the EU’s framework for preventing illegal logging and ensuring transparency across the timber supply chain. Our partner, the Florian Group, is a member of Conlegno (LegnOK), a consortium that promotes legal and sustainable timber trade in line with EU law.

Through the LegnOK Regulation - Due Diligence System, all Natura wood undergoes strict legality checks, risk assessments, and full traceability from forest to finished product.

The LegnOK Technical Committee, part of the Consorzio Servizi Legno-Sughero, monitors and coordinates compliance for licensed companies. Guided by the principles of sustainability, legality, transparency, and traceability, the Committee ensures that only legally and ethically sourced wood enters the European market.
