Natura Nero d’Avola Oak Engineered Flooring is a premium European oak floor with a deep, dark tone and a bold rustic character. The brushed surface reveals the dramatic grain and knot detail of the oak, whilst the UV lacquered finish provides a refined, highly durable surface suited to both residential and commercial environments. Its striking colouring creates a strong design statement and works particularly well in contemporary and industrial inspired interiors.

Each plank measures 100mm in width and 2350mm in length, with a total thickness of 15mm including a 4mm European oak wear layer, supported by an engineered birch plywood core for outstanding stability. Micro bevelled edges add definition between planks, and each pack covers 1.79m². This flooring is 100% made in Italy and is compatible with underfloor heating systems.

Installation is flexible, this floor can be floated, nailed, or glued down to suit your subfloor. It carries a 20 year domestic and 15 year commercial warranty, giving you complete confidence in its long term performance. Suitable for all rooms except bathrooms or wet areas.

How do I install herringbone engineered flooring?

How long should I acclimatise the planks before installation?

We recommend allowing your wood flooring to acclimatise in the room for at least 36 hours before installation. This ensures the wood adjusts to the room’s temperature and humidity for optimal results.

Can I sand and refinish engineered wood planks?

Yes, one of the great benefits of engineered wood flooring is that it can be sanded and refinished multiple times, giving it an exceptionally long lifespan. Typically, you won’t need to sand it for the first 10–15 years, but doing so can refresh its appearance and make it look as good as new.

Do I need underlay with engineered wooden floors?

Yes, in most cases, you will need underlay when installing engineered wood flooring—especially if you're using the floating floor method.
